Return and Exchange Policy for Digital Products

Given that our offerings are exclusively digital, they are not eligible for return or exchange once purchased. We are unable to process refunds post-purchase. We strongly recommend that you thoroughly examine the template demonstrations, features, FAQs, and system prerequisites before making a decision to buy. Should you have any specific inquiries about our templates, we encourage you to reach out to us prior to your purchase.

Customer Support Protocol

Our team is committed to providing assistance with matters directly related to our templates, including installation, building processes, downloading issues, and any complications with the provided files.

However, it is beyond our scope to offer support for general Squarespace queries, alterations to templates or codes, or issues stemming from such modifications, or any difficulties experienced with third-party software.

Our support is accessible through email at support@cariancreative.com, and we strive to deliver responses within 24 hours from Monday to Friday (within one business day)

Squarespace Template Usage Policy

If you opt to obtain a Squarespace Template, you will receive your chosen design in the form of a fresh website through a unique link. To merge the template with an already existing site, you would need to buy a supplementary Install Package.

Although we strive to dispatch your template within a one-day period, there might be instances where delays occur due to unexpected factors. While it's unusual for the delivery to take longer, it's important to recognize that it's not impossible. If you do not receive your template within the expected 24 hours, please open a support ticket. Remember, on weekends and holidays you might experience additional waiting time.

The responsibility for customizing and incorporating your own content into the template falls to you after it has been successfully added to your account. We are unable to revert any unintentional modifications you might make to the design.

A single delivery of the template you select is included with your purchase:

• In case of accidental alterations or failing to accept the template within six months, leading to a free trial expiry, you will need to buy the template again for us to issue a second delivery.

• Please be aware that the template is initially delivered on a free trial basis. Should the trial expire without being converted to a paid plan, Squarespace may schedule the site for deletion. To avoid this and regain access to the template, you'll have to go through the repurchase process. You can prevent such scenarios by reaching out to Squarespace support for a trial extension or by upgrading your website to a paid plan.

When bundled together in one purchase, a Website and Sales Page will be sent to you as one single website entity, unless we receive a prior request to handle them separately. It's important to note that the Sales Page may exhibit slight variations from the demo version as it will adopt the Website Template’s design features such as fonts, colors, and spacing.

Intellectual Property and Use Permissions for Squarespace Assets

Squarespace Website Template Licensing:

When you procure a Squarespace Website Template, it is intended for a single project or website (for example: one Squarespace Template purchase equates to one individual Website). Should you desire to construct additional websites using the same template, another purchase is necessary to grant you a new license for each additional site.

Squarespace Sales Page Template Usage:

A single purchase of a Squarespace Sales Page Template grants usage within one specific project or business entity. However, within that singular project or business, the template may be deployed multiple times.

Social Media Template Guidelines:

Purchasing a social media template pack provides usage rights strictly for a single project or business. Within that specific project or business, the templates can be used repeatedly without limitations.

Agreement Clauses upon Template Purchase:

Should you utilize the template for a client's design work, you must not market or represent the outcome as purely your invention.

You are forbidden from reselling the design, claiming the work as your own, or distributing any part of it.

Any template, graphics, files, or design elements included in your acquisition must not be disseminated or shared with third parties.

Photos included with the template are solely for display and belong to their respective original creators. You are obligated to replace these images with your own or acquire appropriate licenses yourself. We disclaim responsibility for any legal repercussions resulting from the unlawful use of provided images.

Carian Creative/Tanja Schmidt retains copyright ownership and rights to all designs and materials (with the exception of any original photography and Canva graphics) included in the purchase and resulting design.

We reserve the right to feature your completed website design on our template showcases, sales pages, or social media outlets for illustrative and promotional activities.

Template Installation Policy

This policy is applicable exclusively to clients who have acquired a Squarespace Template Install package from us.

Availing of our install package entails the integration of your selected Squarespace Template/s into your present Squarespace website.

Our goal is to complete the installation within a 48-hour window. However, please be advised that this timeline could shift in light of unexpected conditions. Although it's not common for installations to extend beyond this period, we cannot ensure a quicker process. If your installation has not commenced after 48 hours, we encourage you to submit a support ticket for follow-up. Be aware that installations may encounter additional delays during weekends or holiday periods.

Post-installation, the template becomes your asset, and it is your duty to furnish it with content and perform any edits. Should you inadvertently alter the template, our ability to revert these changes is not available.

We will exercise caution to avoid impacting any existing content on your site while performing the install. Nonetheless, we are not liable for any unforeseen incidents or complications that might occur, leading to loss or disruption of current content.

Carian Creative preserves the authority to reject or terminate any installation service at our discretion. If we decide to cancel an installation service, a full refund for that specific service will be provided. However, this does not cover refunds for the Squarespace Template purchased along with the install service.

Additional Information and Considerations

A current Squarespace subscription is necessary to utilize the website and salespage templates, and for some, Photopea or Canva might be required. For our Marketing Templates a Canva account is required. For some templates and/or functionalities a Canva Pro subscription might be necessary. We encourage you to carefully review the requirements provided in each template's description to ensure you have all the necessary resources.

Your purchase grants you lifetime access to the templates. However, we cannot pledge perpetual updates for these templates. Should a template be retired or removed from our collection, it will no longer receive updates.
